Bob Lebo Being Recognized by Bristol Boro Council
The following is an e-mail Mom had sent today about Dad.
Bob is being recognized for his 32 plus years of service Monday night, May 14, 2007 in Bristol Boro’s Hall Chambers.
I am inviting you to join me and to congratulate him for the work he has done to keep our community safe, as a Police Officer, School Resource Officer and for the last nine years, who has instructed your children DARE Officer, in our school(s), Warren Snyder -John Girotti, St. Ann School and St. Mark School.
He was also the liaison officer, for the Youth Aid Panel, who has helped many of our children on the road to keeping a clean record so when the time came for them to move on to improved lives they can in good consensus fill in the appropriate answer.
He has also held many position in this wonderful town, we call home, Town Watch, working with many of our townspeople with keeping our streets safe, and more positions that others would not fill.
Retiring from the police force has left emptiness in his heart. However, he can only hope that the next in line will continue the work that has been set forth for them to follow. Yes, they will have their own way to accomplish the work set before them, but the main ideal is to continue what is started and to keep our youth on the right road to adulthood safely.
So with all that has been accomplished in the past 32-1/2 years, and retiring from the police force in February 2007, our council is now ready to recognize him for his years of service.
Sincerely yours,
Luz Lebo
I wish my schedule allowed for at least me to make the trip to Bristol, PA to be there.
