Myst Online Open Beta Announced

As part of the 7 December GameTap newsletter and on the Myst Online website, the Myst Online: Uru Live Open Beta was announced with a start date of 2006 Dec 12.

From the announcements, it appears that the Open Beta will occur using the GameTap client in the US and Canada. I have to assume that those Explorers participating from locations where GameTap is not available will be using something similar to how the Live Preview was done.
